A panoramic view of the history of Manresa and the region from prehistory to the present day. Highlights include the collection of medieval ceramics, one of the most important collections of Baroque sculpture in Catalonia and the Antoni Viladomat i Manalt Gallery, which houses a deposit of works by this author donated by the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

Due to the major renovations affecting the museum, most of the rooms are currently closed. The museum maintains the schedule of temporary exhibitions as far as possible. These are located in the new rooms of the South Gallery of the Cloister. The information must be consulted separately to find out if there is an ongoing exhibition and its opening hours.

The process of ongoing works is part of the implementation of the new museological program developed for the Museum of Manresa. With the consolidation of the new program we want to consolidate it as a “Museum of the Baroque of Catalonia”.
