You will visit a medieval shrine that stoically lived the battles of history and the baroque altarpiece of the church of Sant Sadurní de Salelles, which was returned years after being saved from the flames during the Spanish Civil War. Will you miss it?
Salelles, a town burned in the summer of 1713, is part of the Route of the Burned villages 1714 of Catalonia. A project of the Generalitat that highlights the places of the War of the Spanish Succession through Route 1714, the burned villages and the spaces 1714.
Includes: Guided tour of the medieval shrine and surroundings, the viewpoint of Montserrat, the Romanesque church of Sant Sadurní de Salelles and the Baroque altarpiece.
