Cal Japet is in an isolated area surrounded by the Castelltallat mountain range, famous for its astronomical observatory. It was built in June 1849 and consisted of a ground floor, first floor, attic, cistern, and small threshing floor.
Between 1984 and 1986, it was completely renovated and expanded. A portion has been adapted for tourist use, including a kitchen and dining room, a living room, and a guest bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor, there is a double room, a twin room, a quadruple room (double bed + bunk bed), and two bathrooms. The capacity is for 8 people, and guests can also exclusively enjoy the garden and pool area…
It is a 2-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the village of Fonollosa. The property has a well-defined outdoor area where everyone can peacefully enjoy nature and observe the different colours of the seasons.
