Route 14.1 – 17.91km – 294m
In the enclosure of the castle of Balsareny we can visit the small chapel of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria, which was the old castle church of the lords of Balsareny. This chapel was built on top of where the monumental work of the Manresa canal begins, a work of medieval engineering unique in Catalonia, which has been providing water to the capital of Bages since the 14th century and allows irrigation of many of its territories. .
Santa Maria de Subirana or de Ferrans was a populated town, before the town of Balsareny. It is a church with two naves, an exception within the Romanesque in the region.
