The Forn brothers, with the determination of their father Joan, began to look at the family estate of Castellfollit del Boix to recover the beating of organic wines in a hidden and paradise corner of Catalonia. The vineyards are surrounded by small expansions of diverse crops, delimited by sheaves and terraces that testify to the size and importance of the estate during the second half of the S.XIX.

The cellar is located in the Grevalosa Valley, a 650m high area in which contrasts are constant. That year, 2022, we extended the vineyard with more Cabernet, which will just be planted next to the Grevalosa stream, thus giving us a very different contrast with the high Cabernet that we already planted in 2015. Let us hope that it works well, and if not, we will learn more, because every year it is a constant learning.

On the other hand, the planted varieties are the White Picapoll, Mandó, Cabernet Franc and Garnacha. An old Sumoll vineyard of 1949 has been recovered. The entire vineyard is owned and to enhance organoleptic and quality parameters, it is worked with low vine yields, 3,500–4,000 kg/Ha. The harvest is manual with 12 kilo boxes.
