Next to the river Cardener, the mining town of Súria cannot hide its medieval past. Good examples are the Castell sienta (old watchtower over the valley of the Cardener) and other spaces such as the keep or the Old Town, the old centre of the town, which has been preserved in the centre of the town and which delights lovers of architecture.

Culture is another element that is very present in Súria. The festive calendar is full of historical traditions, such as the Caramelles, celebrated every Easter Sunday since the 16th century, or the mediaeval Trade Fair, which fills the streets of the town with singers, followed on their route by crowds of people.
