The Resclosa dels Manresans is the starting point of the medieval canal of the Séquia, where it captures the waters of the river Llobregat.
It was originally made of wooden logs, but since the early twentieth century it is covered with concrete. However, the dam retains the semi-elliptical shape it had when it was built. An adjacent house regulates the entry of water into the canal, which in this first section is underground.
The dam is located in a quiet natural space perfect for a walk. In autumn it is especially beautiful, as maples take on reddish hues.
